Offset LightSpeed HyperTi Adjustment Instructions

 Note: Assembled drivers come pre-set for the correct weight based on the length of club ordered and require no further adjustment unless desired.

The Offset LightSpeed HyperTi comes with  ( 3) 1 gram black weights, (2) 2 gram, (2) 5 gram and (2) 8 gram screw weights which can be used  to alter the club head weight to match the overall length of the driver. Gently turn the plastic 1 gram screws in place. Do not attempt to over-tighten to avoid stripping. The screw weights may also be used by themselves in Ultra Light mode with the SmartSet adapter removed for drivers that are 45.5” to 48” in length.

Weights: The weight screws  coincide with the length of the driver and influence ball flight. More weight in the heel encourages more draw bias, more in the toe reduced draw bias and more in the rear increased trajectory.. Weight may be reduced or increased according to personal preference. The following are suggested :

43"-43.5" driver length - (2) 8 gram & (1) 5 gram

44"-44.5” driver length – (2) 8 gram & (1) 1 gram

45"-45.5” driver length – (2) 5 gram & (1) 1 gram

46"-46.5” driver length – (1) 5 gram & (2) 1 gram or (2) 2 gram & (1) 1 gram

47"-47.5” driver length – (3) 1 gram or (1) 2 gram & (2) 1 gram

48” driver length – (3) 1 gram

For 45.5” to 48” Driver Lengths

For drivers assembled at the above lengths the driver may be used in Ultra Light mode with the SmartSet Adapter removed from the sole plate for faster club head speeds and a lower ball flight. Unscrew the adapter from the sole using the flag handle tool and fill the screw holes with the small screws supplied using a small standard slotted screw driver (not supplied). The driver will set up in the draw bias position without the SmartSet Adapter installed. The screw weights can now be configured to properly weight the club head for the driver length used. More weight in the heel promotes draw, more weight in the toe promotes fade, more weight weight in the rear promotes higher ball flight and weight in the heel & toe promotes lower ball flight. Weight may be added or subtracted to satisfy personal feel. The suggested weighting is as follows:

45.5" driver length - (2) 8 gram & (1) 5 gram

46" driver length - (2) 8 gram & (1) 2 gram

46.5” driver length - (1) 8 gram & (1) 5 gram & (1) 2 gram

47” driver length - (2) 5 gram & (1) 2 gram or (1) 8 gram & (1) 5 gram & (1) gram

47.5” driver length - (1) 5 gram & (2) 2 gram

48" driver length - (1) 5 gram & (2) 1 gram

Raw club head weights +/- are as follows:

with (3) 1 gram screws - 180 grams

with SmartSet adapter installed & (3) 1 gram screws - 190 grams

Longer driver lengths can also be cut down to standard or shorter lengths for golfers who are uncomfortable swinging a longer club. Drivers are cut down from the grip end which can be performed by any experienced club maker or golf shop.

Ultra Edition Drivers

The Ultra Edition LightSpeed HyperTi uses the lightest club head settings together with the ultra light graphite shafts and a 23 gram grip to maximize swing speed at club lengths from 46.5” to 48”. The custom assembled drivers come pre-set for correct weighting however golfers can adjust the weight to individual preference. Weight can be positioned in the heel for more draw bias, in the rear for proper trajectory or in the toe for more fade bias. The drivers can also be used with the face angle adapter placed on the sole plate (as described above) with just the 1 gram plastic weights installed in the three weight ports.
